12pm CT (60 min): Restore balance through the lens of Ayurveda, Yoga's sister science
Class Description
Ever wonder where the seats of Ayurveda reside in the body, how they manifest, and how you can balance yourself with Yoga? Join us for a weekly Ayurvedic Yoga practice, Pranayama, and Meditation. Using the cycles of season and day, including weather, social influences and tuning into your own frequency, or current Prakriti, we will move the body to bring back a state of balance with the lens of Ayurveda. We will flow to move energy and stimulate all the cells with intentional energetic Yoga moments, while also incorporating myofascial release techniques to release restricted fascia in the body. All levels are welcome. Recommended Props: Bolster/Pillow, Blanket, +2 Blocks (or books) + Tennis Ball (or similar) This class will be live-streamed from the studio, as well.
