Class Description
Join us for a weekly Qi Gong class led by a rotation of experienced teachers. This class is suitable for all levels, no previous experience required. ๐๐๐ May 4th & 11th - Sharabella May 18th & 25th - Brent Qi Gong is an intentional practice to clear the mind and regulate emotions, while activating blood and energy channels. Moving with regulated breath, qi, our life force energy, moves freely. The result is a feeling of calm yet alert and energized. Qi Gong roughly translates into "energy practice". The term qi gong encompasses many different techniques to invigorate the mind body and spirit. Most people's exposure to qi gong is through tai chi chuan (supreme ultimate fist) or dao yin (guiding and pulling) which involves breathing synced with movements. In this class you can expect to mainly learn styles of this nature but also the theory behind qi gong which includes meditation and nei gong or "internal practice". These classes will be live-streamed from the studio, as well.
