About the Event
Join us to celebrate and experience the healing powers of Singing Bowls.
Singing bowls, also known as Himalayan bowls based on the region where they are created, are pleasant to listen to and relax the mind and body into peaceful states. Calming the mind in this way is meditative and releases tension. The bowl's vibration removes negative and blocked energy. Sound and vibration can help us return to good health, as the body is affected on the cellular level opening up the flow of energy to move us toward vibrational alignment.
In our studio space, amplified by the hardwood floors, we will enjoy a plethora of bowls of various sizes, attuned to different notes and chakras. Bowls will be placed above the head, near the crown chakra, and below the feet, representing the root chakra.
You will also be invited to step into the large flat bottom Grounding Bowl. When the large Grounding Bowl sings, the vibrational energies transfer into the feet moving up the body passing through and around subtle energies like Chakras and Koshas. These grounding vibrations are like nothing else. When the bowls sing, we move into a transcendental state. This can be heard and felt when standing in the flat bottom large Grounding Bowl.
While surrounded in the healing vibrations of these magical vessels, allow the tension to melt away and reach a state of surrender.
Join us IN PERSON at Shuniya Yoga Collective for this unique experience, guided by Winnie Alexander, and allow this fully immersive sound bath to elevate your body and soul!
Please bring any props you need for your practice (yoga mat, blanket, bolster, water).
