Join Stephanie Samuels, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction practitioner and yoga teacher, on Zoom for an introduction session to explore how mindfulness may support you in living life more fully, with greater ease and joy.
In this intro class we will explore a brief history of MBSR, what mindfulness is and is not, a taste of mindfulness through one or more short guided practices, what to expect from MBSR, including its benefits and risks, plus open time for Q/A. No prior experience is needed to attend this intro workshop and there is no obligation to attend the MBSR course.
MBSR has over 40 years of research that consistently demonstrates positive outcomes associated with increased self-awareness and emotional and attentional regulation.
