Full Moon Illumination: Cord Cutting Ceremony

Is your mind focused on someone you cannot stop thinking about? Does the image of another person suddenly flood your space? Feel the need to disconnect from patterns, people or incidents around you? These are just a few of the signs that indicate that you could benefit from cutting certain energy cords. Some cords are unhealthy for you to maintain and keep. It is spiritually healthy for you to detach yourself from these cords.  They can create a distraction and loss of focus, and they can inhibit you speaking your truth, resulting in a physical and emotional drain. Negative cords can also decrease your feelings of stability, while positive cords increase it.

Propel yourself to your next level of energetic vibration and awareness by cutting these unhealthy cords! Breaking these patterns can allow for insight into your career, and even help you create space to invite in new healthier relationships.

In this workshop we will move through a cleansing process with fire (outside, weather permitting) and tobacco (tobacco will NOT be ingested). Shamanic ceremony allows for us to give our prayers up to the Great Spirit through this process. Through meditation we will discover what Cords should be Cut and through intention we will extend our vibration and connection into the new year - establishing new patterns with ourselves and Mother Earth. Coupled with the Full Moon, the powerful convergence of light and dark energies, provides the perfect time and space to cleanse your mind, body and spirit. Remove or let go of any of that built up energy that you no longer have a need for - releasing anything this is overwhelming, capturing or too much to harness.

Workshop will include sound, mantra and meditation. Open to all levels.

About your guide:

JennyO has been leading ritual and ceremony for most of her life. Incorporating what she has learned from shamans, healers, teachers and her ancestors, she blurs the lines between lineages for a unique experience fusing rituals dear to her heart and culture. She brings these together in Shamanic ceremony which is a way of life that connects nature and all of creation.

Please bring a journal or paper and a pen and any props you need for your practice (yoga mat, blanket, bolster, water).
